Pacheco Overpass

Today Clay and I went to the library to catch storytime. I had the time wrong and was an hour early. We looked at books and checked out a couple. He was too impatient to wait for storytime so we left. For those of you who are not familiar with Los Banos, the library is right next to the highway. There is an overpass walking bridge that connects the schools across the street to the library and Pacheco Park. Clay's new thing has been spotting 'Big Truck'. He stops playing when he hears a loud engine drive by and says, "Oh, Big Truck". He also points them out when we are driving. So we went on a Big Truck adventure. Up and up we walked on the overpass bridge until we were on top with four lanes of traffic passing below. Clay's eyes were wide with amazement. Big trucks were passing right under us. We were on top on them! He went from one side to the other pointing out the trucks, big trucks and bikes (motorcycles). It was quite a senstation to be over all the traffic but feel as through you are close enough to touch it. Thankfully no vertigo happened. But I did get all mushy with memories of when I was younger and loved crossing the Pacheco Overpass.
